From the Director
Hello and Welcome!
I would like to introduce myself and give you a little background about
me. I graduated from the Western School of Feng Shui of which Terah Kathryn
Collins is the founder and originator of Essential Feng Shui which focuses on
the many practical applications of Feng Shui for the Western culture. She was
introduced to Feng Shui through Dr. Richard Tan and Loius Audet and then
pursued her studies with Master Lin Yun who is the founder of the Yun Lin
Temple in Berkeley, California.
I liked the
idea that Terah was originally a holistic health provider (a registered
polarity practitioner and neurolinguistic programmer) and practiced transcendal
meditation, yoga, studied the I Ching and Eastern philosophy starting from her
teenage years. She has dedication and positive intuition for Feng Shui
practices.
The Toronto
School of Feng Shui incorporates Black Sect Feng Shui concepts into the lessons
because of the importance of harmonizing the physical elements (interior and
exterior) with the "will" or intentions of the client or Feng Shui expert.
Form School concepts will be taught which is one
of the oldest forms of Feng Shui. Students learn the positive and negative
effects of shapes and colours in and around our environments. The Bagua will be
covered in detail. The I Ching, Compass School (Flying Stars), Yin Yang, Five
Elements, Kua Numbers and Eight Trigrams will discussed and students will be
shown how to use these tools in their own environment and for their clients.
The Toronto School of Feng Shui Practitioner's
Core Certificate Program will get you started on an exciting and rewarding
career as a Feng Shui Practitioner. I have been studying numerous writings and
teachings on Feng Shui for over 6 years and would like to pass on the positive
concepts and results to the students and then they in turn to their
communities. I hope you can join us for this fun and easy way to learn Feng
Shui. Best Wishes,
Sharon Hay
