How much and how long is the Feng Shui Practitioners Core Certificate Course?

$1800.00 for 5 days of Classes. Once you register online you will be emailed an information package and pre-study material. You will receive a workbook for inclass studies and a Feng Shui Practitioners Reference Handbook you can use during your consultations. You will be mailed a Certificate from the Canadian Schools of Feng Shui when you have completed all classes and assignments satisfactorily. Your clients will feel confident that you have graduated from a reputable Feng Shui School and have successfully learned empowering Feng Shui skills.

Why is the Feng Shui Practitioners Core Certificate Course only five days?

The School's objective is to bring the student, in the shortest possible time, to the level of a beginning practitioner. The program will appeal to those who need practical skills to start as a Feng Shui practitioner as quickly as possible and those who need specific practical skills in Feng Shui to add to their current career skill set to become more competitive in the marketplace. You will have the necessary knowledge to begin your Feng Shui Practitioners Business within weeks of graduating the course.

What do I wear and what do I need to bring to class?

Bring your favourite pen and an eagerness to learn. A workbook will be supplied for you. You may wear smart casual clothing that is comfortable. Classes start at 10:00am, we will break for approximately an hour for lunch and classes end at 4:30pm each day. Morning coffee/tea and snacks will be complimentary but you will need to purchase your own lunch.

Please Note: Course curriculum may change without notice.

When I graduate, will that mean that I am a Feng Shui Master?

No. It takes years of study to become a Feng Shui Master. The Certificate means that you have had practical Feng Shui training that can be used in consultations in homes and businesses.

Is the CanadianSchools of Feng Shui a Registered Private School with the Ontario Ministry of Education?

No. This program is being offered as a self improvement and empowerment course. Because this program is avocational (a subordinate occupation pursued in addition to one's vocation) in nature, we are not required to register under the Private Career Colleges Act.

Do you teach Compass School of Feng Shui such as Flying Stars and Four Pillars?

Compass School Feng Shui relies on the use of a luo pan or Chinese Compass, and the birth information of homeowners to assess environments. Based on numerical findings, the Compass school is especially useful when you are building your own home and can choose where to place rooms, doors and windows.

Over the years, I've observed that Form School techniques produce excellent results and are generally easier to integrate into the Western lifestyle of homes and businesses already in existence. At the Canadian Schools of Feng Shui we explain the Compass School philosophy and have charts from the results of Flying Star that the students can use in consultations for those clients who want to know the directions of the Energy Shift of Chi.
We also teach the Eight Houses and Personal and Home Trigrams. The result is a trained professional who is effective with a variety of styles.

Why is this Certificate Course a "Core Program"?

The Toronto School of Feng Shui "Core Program" is Program specifically designed by the School to get students up and running in their own Feng Shui Practice in a short period of time. Students are encouraged to keep studying and learn as much as they can as long as they practice Feng Shui.

A Feng Shui Practitioner’s work can be very joyful and rewarding, but the commitment process requires each individual to be the clearest conduit they can be in order for universal guidance to pass through them for direction and to assist others in their healing process. A four-day training course is enough to begin your practice as a consultant, but thinking that you are no longer in need of continued training and processing is a false misconception. In truth “we are only able to take our clients as far as we are willing to go ourselves”, and the “perpetual student syndrome” should become part of our life long spiritual practice and commitment to excellence. Advanced Feng Shui work in this millennium will ask of us to work with individuals from a heart, soul, and life path perspective. Along with that commitment should come a willingness to be trained in the “multi-dimensional processes” of Feng Shui work and the willingness to do our own personal confrontation and healing work.
